Park 1 - Walter Baker Park, Kanata

Description: Walter Baker Park is located near the corner of Terry Fox and Hazeldean in Kanata.  There are two playstructures, an impressive hill to climb and play on (used as a toboggan hill in winter), a lot of greenspace, and a beautiful pond to explore. There is a Splash Pad with a tall dome, a water cannon, and four fountain sprays.  The splash pad and park give lots of shade from the surrounding trees.  This park and its surrounding area is the site for many concerts and events in Kanata, including the Canada Day celebrations where thousands of west end residents attend.
